Community Interest Company Success Story - Gateway C.I.C
Gateway C.I.C will be celebrating in March their first year as a community interest company. Vicky Fitzgerald said "We have grown from six staff to nearly a hundred in one year and the pace of growth and change is phenomenal – we have secured some fabulous contracts from Primary Care Trusts and believe being a CIC has given us the freedom and flexibility to make real changes to the way people in poorer communities experience health and social care services –it is early days but we feel successful already."
