DOCUMENTS AND FEE REQUIRED WHEN CONVERTING TO A COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY IN NORTHERN IRELAND
To convert an existing company to a community interest company you are required to deliver to Registrar of Companies for Northern Ireland the following completed documents, with a fee:

- Form CIC37 application to convert a company to a community interest company, inclusive of declarations)
- Special resolutions:
- to alter the company’s Memorandum to state that the company is to be a community interest company:
- to make such alterations of the memorandum and articles of association as it considers necessary to comply with the requirements imposed by and by virtue of section 32 or otherwise appropriate in connection with becoming a community interest company; and
- to change the company’s name to include one of the following designates community interest company / c.i.c. / community interest public limited company / community interest p.l.c. or the Welsh equivalent; and - Memoranda and Articles of Association. - Cheque for £55 payable to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment.
